SD 06: VINH LONG - CAN THO (HOMESTAY)

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho (L/D)
Early start in the morning from your hotel to CaiBe –the heart of Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in Cai Be board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiples canals to Vinh Long. Visit Cai Be floating market, an Old Colonial House, a rice corn factory. Visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisped producing process, etc…
Taste local specialties for lunch in the garden local restaurant. A nice chance for listening a traditional country music.
Optional: bicycle riding, roaming through the village and looking at the local handicraft shops.
In the afternoon, continue to Can Tho, the main town of the Mekong Delta. Check in homestay in Cantho. Enjoy a peaceful country life in Mekong Delta with many activities such as fishing, river bathing, farming. At a dinner, you can learn to cook some Vietnamese dishes.
Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After breakfast, transfer by car to Cai Rang floating market. Board a sampan to see local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Then drive back to Saigon. A stop at Mekong Restop for lunch.
Back to Saigon late in the afternoon.
